Your entry fee is invested in the cost of delivering the event, including contractors, suppliers and administration. As such, entries are non-refundable. However, you have the following options before the event:
Transfer your place:
You can transfer your entry to another runner via your Runner Dashboard until Thursday 4th June, 6 weeks before the event (link in your confirmation email). A small fee of £2.50 applies, paid by the new runner. Any merchandise or photo package is automatically transferred to the new runner. Any fee payment is to be settled privately.

Medical deferral:
If you are unable to take part due to injury or illness, you may defer your place to the following year. This is available up to Thursday 18th June, 4 weeks before the event date and requires supporting evidence from a medical professional (e.g. doctor or physiotherapist). Please send a short email or letter, and we will provide the next steps.

Volunteer option:
If you are past the transfer and medical deferral deadlines but still want to be involved, we would love for you to volunteer at the event. Volunteers receive a complimentary entry* as a thank you for volunteering towards another event in the next 12 months (*conditions apply). For more information, email volunteers@eventsofthenorth.com to inquire. We would love to have you on the crew and events simply can’t operate without a volunteers.
