Events of the North, in partnership with Durham University and supported by Durham County Council, are excited to announce entries are open for the Durham City Run Festival, 17th – 19th July 2025.

The Durham City 5K and 10K races returns to Durham on Thursday 17th July 2025.

Experience a midsummer evening of running through some of Durham’s most iconic historic landmarks, and collect a medal and goody bag to celebrate your achievement.

Paula’s Families on Track will be held on Saturday 19th July 2025. Get the whole family active in this team relay, complete with fancy dress, fun activities and different lap lengths for everyone to get involved!
