40 years on from the Golden Age of British Athletics, former world champion athlete Steve Cram is preparing to go back to 1985 to officially open the Durham City Run Festival.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of one of the great achievements in track athletics history, when Cram broke three different world records in the space of only 19 days, fellow time travellers will be able to join Steve, host of the event Jeff Brown and other special guests at this special event where guests will get the chance to relive the World Records on the big screen and listen to some unique behind the scenes memories about that summer of 1985.
