Experience a midsummer evening of running through some of Durham’s most iconic historic landmarks, and collect a medal and goody bag to celebrate your achievement.

Paula’s Families on Track will be held on Saturday 19th July 2025. Get the whole family active in this team relay, complete with fancy dress, fun activities and different lap lengths for everyone to get involved!

Feel the buzz in the city from the Durham City Run Festival, a celebration of running in the local community!

DURHAM CITY RUNS

Choose between the 5K or the 10K, and race around some of Durham’s most iconic landmarks! With a new start line at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Durham, and the iconic finish line at Palace Green, it’ll definitely be a race to remember.

PAULA’S FAMILIES ON TRACK

The popular family fitness event was first debuted at Durham Racecourse in 2019. Now bigger than ever, the continuous relay encourages families to get active and race together! Your family team runs laps of varying lengths to add up to a total 10km before you all cross the line together and celebrate!
