Durham’s leading physiotherapy clinic, JP Physio, are partnering with Durham City Run Festival for the second year as Official Physio Partner.
This year’s Durham City Run Festival, supported by Durham University, are once again welcoming JP Physio, Durham’s leading physiotherapy clinic, as the Official Physio Partner. The festival of running includes the popular Durham City 5K and 10K races on Thursday 17th July 2025. Over 2,000 participants will run the routes through the city centre, finishing on Palace Green, in front of Durham’s World Heritage Site, Durham Cathedral.
In a new addition to the calendar, the festival will be officially opened by a special event at the Gala Theatre, Durham on Wednesday 16th July, commemorating the 40th anniversary of one of the great achievements in track athletics history, when former world champion athlete Steve Cram broke three world records in the space of 19 days. Paula Radcliffe’s Families on Track, the family-oriented relay event, will return to Durham Racecourse on Saturday 19th July to complete Durham’s festival of running.
